We are so excited to share our little bundle of Joy with everyone!!! Mommy and Daddy were a little slow on starting up her own web page and all...so I'll try to play catch up!
May 25th, 2007- Shaylee Noelle Gardiner was born at 12:14pm. Weighed 7lbs, 5oz and 20" long. She had a head of dark hair and a spitting image of her daddy!!
THE NAME- We had such a hard time with picking the perfect name. She was going to be either Ashleigh, Harley, Sierra, or even a few more. Jim and I both loved the name "Shea" but we wanted something a little longer. We wanted to be able to incorporate some of the family into her name as well. Well, we managed to sit at starbucks and look at many many baby books. We didn't find her name in there, but we just wrote it a million ways and then googled it to see if it existed! and it did. Meaning Fairy princess of the field. Her Grandfathers are both tied into the name. Jim's dad "Leigh", and my dad "Noel". Shaylee Noelle. We changed the spelling of "Leigh" so she wouldn't have too much of a problem spelling her own name when she is older, and added a more feminine touch to Noel and make it Noelle!
